Leading Prop-Tech Innovator Announces New Roles Amid Rapid Expansion

, the category defining prop-tech company that has redefined the way people live, travel, and work, is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members: Nicolas Chammas as Chief Financial Officer, ChrisThompson as Vice President of Development, and Jon Gray as Vice President of Experience. Messrs. Chammas, Thompson and Gray will be integral assets as Sentral continues its expansion in the U.S.

These three executives will play critical roles in Sentral’s nationwide expansion. The burgeoning brand, approaching its one year anniversary, recently opened new locations in Nashville and Scottsdale.

Nicolas Chammas, Chief Financial Officer

An investor turned operator, Mr. Chammas joins the company as Sentral’s first Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Nick will oversee Sentral’s finance and accounting functions and will be responsible for managing the annual budget and the capital planning process, financial reporting, forecasting, and fundraising and will ensure Sentral remains appropriately capitalized for growth. Prior to joining Sentral, Nick served as Vice President of Strategic Finance and Investment Analysis at Sonder, where he led $900 million in fundraising and Sonder’s eventual 2022 IPO. Before merging his passions for real estate, hospitality, and finance, Nick worked for more than 15 years in growth equity investing and investment banking. Nick has led investments in growth-stage technology and technology-enabled businesses, and has advised public and private companies on M&A, capital raising, and IPO transactions, representing nearly $15 billion.

Chris Thompson, Vice President of Development

Mr. Thompson will lead Sentral’s development group and have overall responsibility for architectural design, construction, budgeting, sourcing, and project and risk management, working closely with the experience and operations teams. In his most recent position, Chris served as Senior Vice President at Cumming Management Group, delivering projects across a variety of market sectors throughout the United States for many recognizable companies and brands. Prior to that, Mr. Thompson spent 15 years in development management and leadership positions, including experprise international expansion. His background in technology and engineering will also support Sentral’s overall growth and expansion plans.

Jon Gray, Vice President of Experience

With vast experience in hospitality and entertainment, Mr. Gray will work with several of Sentral’s departments – including design and construction, digital, community operations, and marketing – in order to oversee the research, design, and delivery of a holistic product for all Sentral residents and guests. Jon started his career as a hotel front desk associate and worked his way up to ultimately lead the reimagination of a $1 billion Las Vegas mega resort. Jon has developed, opened, and operated more than 100 venues from single stores, bars and restaurants, to hotels, casinos and attractions. He has envisioned and produced more than 5,000 events, from large-scale festivals and races to intimate VIP experiences. Jon was also involved in launching the Nike+ app, as well as opening Nike Flagship and concept stores in New York, Miami, and Tokyo. His vast experience and focus on innovation will add to the creative behind incredible physical and digital experiences for Sentral communities.
